Does it really matter if the breakdown company has their own patrol or not?

You will find that some breakdown companies like Green Flag do not have their own network of patrols. But does this matter to you as a customer? So long as the patrol vehicle gets to your vehicle within 45 minutes of your call out. Does it matter?

Building up your breakdown cover no claims status can save you money

Some breakdown cover companies will allow you to building up your own no claims discount. If you have not made a claim on your breakdown in the last year then you will most likely be given a discount from your breakdown provider when you renew your policy again.

Exceed the maximum number of callouts and it will increase your breakdown premium

Many motorists are not aware that some of the big breakdown companies have a maximum number of call outs in a year. This means for some motorists that have made several calls in a year will have to pay more next year for their breakdown recovery service.
