Swiftcover Says UK Drivers Paying Too Much For Car Insurance

According to car insurance company Swiftcover drivers in the UK could save around GBP1.9 billion simply by shopping around for a better deal.
A Swiftcover spokeswoman expressed amazement that, with the cost of bills increasing every year, people were not finding every way possible to save money. Simply going online and asking for a car insurance quote would be a good way to start. It is often the case that car insurance renewals are seen as just that, a renewal, when in fact they should be considered an opportunity to cut costs. Swiftcover can quote many examples of money saving on car insurance, with their own examples showing how not using call centres can drastically cut company costs, the savings being passed on to the customer.
As a typical example the Swiftcover spokeswoman cited an example of a woman in the North West of England, aged 25 and buying a brand new Peugeot 207. A not uncommon scenario but remarkable for the fact that she could save over GBP330 by opting for the lowest priced insurance policy rather than the most expensive.
