Until 21 June Tesco Finance home insurance customers can get a massive 33 percent discount on their premium. Buy online and there is a further 10 percent discount available.
The discount offer is open to new Tesco Finance home insurance customers applying either online or by phone and is applicable to the first year of buildings and contents insurance. This level of discount is certain to attract plenty of interest in Tesco home insurance so it is a good job the policy itself is also a very good one.
A suggestion made by a Tesco Finance spokesman was to have a look at how their home insurance measures up against the competition since a discount of a third off the premiums for the year is a big saving.

Esure are reminding the new students headed for university this year that home insurance cover is something that should not be overlooked.
The typical student will have around GBP1,500 worth of items they take with them when they go to university and without proper home insurance cover this could all be lost. Parents often help out with student insurance cover, though Esure found nearly a quarter of them had not thought about the matter.
Cover can be arranged quite easily for most students, sometimes having their own policy or alternatively using existing home insurance that their parents have. A number of insurers will include separate cover for students accommodation on the main home policy said Esure.
Tesco Finance have introduced the well known Finest branding to their home insurance, with this top of the line cover introducing a concierge service and even higher values of protection.
The cover offered for buildings is now unlimited, and the protection for contents while the house is empty, for example at Christmas, has doubled from GBP5,000 to GBP10,000. As a special offer Tesco Finance are also giving customers an extra 20 percent on the amount of protection offered free of charge.
Tesco are also including an initial appetizer that will be well received by new customers, namely a GBP60 shopping voucher, which can also be redeemed at the petrol station if required.
