Terminal 5 Insurance Will Be Included For Existing Direct Line Insurance Customers

After initially stating that claims for loss and delays at Heathrow Terminal 5 would not be covered, Direct Line travel insurance are now advising customers that they will in fact be covered.
For anyone who had Direct Line travel insurance and suffered a loss or delay when Terminal 5 first opened they are saying that they will look at any claims now put forward sympathetically. It is thought that the insurer will not disregard any claims made, even though they had said at the time that they were not covering losses at that time.
The change of heart has been brought about primarily following the uproar that ensued as a number of insurers took this step, not only Direct Line.
