Environmentally Friendly Halifax credit card

A new Halifax credit card has been launched that is claimed to offer a number of environmentally friendly features.
One of the first things Halifax will do to help the environment is make a donation to the Woodland Trust the first time the card is used. They are also making the cards themselves out of carbon neutral plastic and, like many other financial operations, offer the facility to take statements by email.
From a financial perspective holders of this new Halifax credit card can have 0 percent on balance transfers for 9 months as well as zero percent on purchases for 6 months. The typical APR of the new credit card is 16.9 percent APR making it, all things considered, a pretty good deal for everyone.
